From Child to Woman to Motherhood and Beyond. From Clinical Cases to Clinical Excellence

The Mother and Child Health Session at RSU Research Week will be built around the unifying concept From Child to Woman to Motherhood and Beyond. From Clinical Cases to Clinical Excellence, highlighting the continuum of healthcare from childhood and adolescence through a woman’s reproductive years and pregnancy to the next generation. The session will bring together specialists in neonatology, pediatrics and its subspecialties, rare diseases, pediatric surgery, gynecology, and obstetrics, as well as midwives, with a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration.

The programme will focus on clinical challenges as a starting point for exploring modern diagnostic and treatment approaches, innovations, and solutions available in Latvia, including opportunities for international collaboration. Discussions will also address the next steps needed to further improve healthcare delivery and identify areas where action at the healthcare system and national policy levels is required.

RSU Research Week ietvaros Mātes un bērna veselības sesija tiks veidota ar vienojošu konceptu From Child to Woman to Motherhood and Beyond. From Clinical Cases to Clinical Excellence, aptverot veselības aprūpes nepārtrauktību no bērnības un pusaudžu vecuma līdz sievietes reproduktīvajam periodam, grūtniecībai un nākamajai paaudzei. Sesija vienuviet pulcēs neonatoloģijas, pediatrijas un tās subspecialitāšu, reto slimību, bērnu ķirurģijas, ginekoloģijas, dzemdniecības  speciālistus un vecmātes, īpaši izceļot starpdisciplināru sadarbību.

Programmas centrā būs klīniskās problēmas, caur kurām tiks analizētas mūsdienīgas diagnostikas un ārstēšanas iespējas, inovācijas un Latvijā pieejamie risinājumi, tostarp starptautiskā sadarbība, kā arī nepieciešamie nākamie soļi veselības aprūpes sistēmā un valsts līmenī.
